Associated Country Women of the World
Welcome to Frederick County Homemakers. We are happy you have joined us. We hope you will enjoy your membership or think about joining us..
What is Homemakers? It’s explained in our Homemakers’ Creed. The creed talks about being a woman who wants her home to be a peaceful, lovely place where there is faith, trust, love and devotion, but most importantly, both the good times and the responsibilities are taken on by all the family members - not just left to the wife, mother, and homemaker.
In this home there is an atmosphere which encourages all family members to be high minded, to strive to develop and exemplify excellent personal character traits, and be aware of the opportunities to be good citizens of the local and area community.
The homemaker’s home is one that welcomes Divine guidance in the family’s choices and each family member receives the blessings of a peaceful atmosphere, encouragement and help in facing individual challenges. The door is open to provide hospitality and receive it in return. There is much to do, much to experience, and much to share of the good life.
The homemaker is constantly learning new skills to enhance her home, and sharing these freely with others. Her knowledge and talents extend beyond her doors into the community giving her interest in the quality of life in her county, her state, her nation and insomuch as possible, the world.
So what is Frederick County Homemakers?
A coming together of like-minded individuals seeking to learn, to teach, and to experience the good life which surrounds us. We wish to capture it and bring it home, to share it with others in our group, to reach out and make a connection far and wide, and to live an unrestricted and full life. We want to enjoy the blessings our Creator has showered down upon us in our corner of the world. We hope to create…to share…to mend…to encourage…to enhance…to expand…to exhibit…our personal sphere of influence.
Welcome to Frederick County Homemakers. Join us in our quests and be fulfilled.
